I am Zhang Laoshi. I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I came to the US as an exchange student, and earned my college degrees in Ohio. I started my teaching career in 2011. This is my sixth year at Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary. I am currently teaching Kindergarten at Barnard and have previously taught 3rd and 5th grade.
I like to watch sports (ice hockey, baseball and football), travel, and create delicious food in my spare time.
