Barnard is a public magnet school that enrolls students of all backgrounds who are interested in a Mandarin Immersion program without regard to applicants' native language.
Enrollment is by application only, with no entrance requirements. Prospective TK to 5th grade students are invited to apply through the online school choice application. For students in grades 1-5, a grade-level placement test may be conducted before enrollment.
